Bookings
A move date is provisional until I've confirmed it in writing (text or email). For longer-distance jobs or bigger loads, a small deposit may be requested to secure the date.
Quotes
Quotes are based on the information you provide. Significant additions on the day (extra items, longer carrying distance, parking restrictions) may incur an additional charge — I'll always tell you before doing the extra work.
Cancellations
I understand moves can shift. Cancellations more than 7 days before are free. Inside 7 days, the deposit (if paid) may be retained to cover the lost slot.
Insurance & liability
I carry public liability and goods-in-transit insurance. Insurance covers genuine accidents during loading, transit and unloading. It does not cover pre-existing damage, electronics that aren't packed properly, perishables, hazardous items, or items packed by the customer and not opened by me.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the move, by bank transfer or cash. Bank details are provided on the day.
Access & parking
Please make sure there's parking available close to both addresses, and that hallways/lifts are clear. Parking suspensions / permits are the customer's responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
Changes
These terms may change from time to time. The version on this site at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
